Adam Charlton aka Adam400m is a fitness model and former National and European athlete who has over 130,000 fans on instagram. Adam has always been very athletic and lean, even in his early teenage years.

Sprinting came natural to me and I became the fastest 400m runner in the UK for my age group. I loved to be competitive and the feeling of winning was like no other. I went on to compete at a National and European level

An injury put an end to his athletic career, but it gave him the opportunity to pursue a new passion. Getting back into gym in the gym, he feel in love with the sport of bodybuilding and has taken his physique to the next level.

Adam Charlton ‘Adam400m’ Legs Motivation

Killed legs ! Started with 5 minutes warm up on the stair master machine.Then 2 sets of leg extensions , 25 reps . Now I’m warmed up I hit the leg press, 4 sets , 15,12,10 and 8 reps . Last set is a brutal drop down ! I strip a few plates and bang out another 8 reps or to failure .Next is 2 sets of barbell squats DEEP. I pick a weight where I can handle 15 reps but rep out 25 reps . I seriously feel like puking after this and the weight isn’t even crazy heavy !! To finish off I perform 3 sets of walking lunges with a barbell

Leg day ! Keeping it really simple but intense . First i’ll start with Leg extensions , 4 sets , 25,20,15,12 reps .1 minute recovery between sets .Next it’s leg press , 4 sets, 15,12,10 and 8 (last set is a drop set )Last exercise to finish is hack squats , 4 sets , 15,12,10 and 8 reps.
